Palazzo Pants For Office

Hello everyone! You might be thanking God 'coz it's Friday. Hail! What are you up to this weekend? Hope you enjoy it as I will do. So, today is my "office chic" friday. My coworkers said I am too corporate for this look. Am I? For me this is just an ordinary fab office girl outfit. Have you heard of a palazzo pants? The 80's described it as a square pants because it's parallel from the hip to the foot. But palazzo is more edgy 'coz it's semi-flared.
I bought this at Landmark in their bazaar section. It's very affordable for Php 350.00. You can find a lot of good buys there from shoes to clothing apparels to bags, etc. What I like about Landmark is that most of the items are locally made and unbranded that's why it's inexpensive.

Here's me, the office chic. As I say.

The sheer top was also bought from the Landmark at around Php 180.00. I am a bargainista. When I go to the mall I first look at the sale items. Actually most of my clothes and shoes were bought at a discounted price. I don't care if it's cheap just as long as I carry it confidently and I am comfortable with it.

Thanks for dropping by guys.

Bun In Style

Alright, I'm a fashionista wannabe. It's been my dream since I was a child to have a room full of dress and shoes. I was tagged "baduy" because I used to always wear jeans and long skirts to hide my legs. Not until I got married. It's my husband who encouraged me to come out in the wild (lion? Hahaha!) Enough of that sentis.

May I let you see my sense of style.

Dress: SM Ladies' Fashion
Shoes: Lower East Side bought at Payless Shoesource
Bracelet: WWW at SM
Necklace: Bought from Landmark
Earrings: Bought at a tiangge
Watch: Kenneth Cole

Whenever I wear a white dress I accentuate it with colorful accessories. I love white clothes and it's a staple in my closet.

Do you like my bun? It's still summer so I opted to pull my hair back for that clean look. My officemate said I like to imitate J.Lo's hairstyle, which is true. I've drawn this post inspired by her.

I'm not a trying-hard-feeling-know-it-all-about-fashion blogger. I just wanna let you see my taste in clothes, accessories and shoes. Constructive criticisms are welcome. Thanks for reading.

Save or Splurge On Eyebrow Liner

This is the first review that I'll make. I will start on eyebrow liner as this is one of the most important makeups we should have in our kit. On the spotlight is Tony Moly 7 Days Tatoo (yes, this is how it was spelled) Eyebrow and K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow 24h.

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow 24h
Cost: Php 895.00
Where to Buy: Beauty Bar

They say...

It’s Real Lasting Eyebrow Liner is a heaven sent product for people with sparse eyebrows as it literally stays put until you want it to. It is water resistant and its translucent ink helps users avoid the common problem of “over-darkened” eyebrows. No need to check your eyebrows every once in awhile to make sure your eyebrows are still there. Yahoo to perfect eyebrows the whole day!

This revolutionary liquid eyebrow liner defines your eyebrows naturally through its remarkable “dual” flat point tip. You can choose to simultaneously shade, mark and tint your eyebrows in an amazing long lasting way with its smudge and water-resistant polymers. This eyebrow liner is made of just the right amount of translucence such that the color is deep enough to conceal sparse areas of your eyebrow but not too dark that it gives a severe, unforgiving tone. If you want a darker tone, just go over the same area twice or more. Suitable for everyone, from beginners to professionals!

One pen will last 3 to 4 months of daily use.

I say...

Awesome! I've read a lot of good reviews about this eyebrow liner so I got intrigued and rushed over to the Beauty Bar. It convinced me to buy one because I saw Heart Evangelista posted this on her Instagram. And we know Heart has one of those full well-groomed brows. I prefer to have full brows for it makes me look younger than my age. I'm now 30.

Tony Moly 7 Days Tatoo Eyebrow
Cost: Php 398.00
Where to Buy: Watsons

No product information for this on their website. I can say this product had really get me off my feet when I knew this is way cheaper than K-Palette. This one is always out of stock that it took me a month to wait. The Tony Moly sales attendant was so nice that she even get my number to inform me once stock is available so I can be the first to get one. Kudos Tony Moly Megamall branch!

So let me compare these two now for you to see which one would work better on you and your wallet.

Tony Moly is made in Korea while K-Palette is made in Japan.

I got both in shades number 01. All have only two shades available. Tony Moly is lighter than K-Palette. I did five strokes for each swatches.

On the kilay...

I don't have identical brows but at least they're similar. Notice that there is no much difference but when you view it on a full picture,

you can tell which one complements your face and hair color. My winner is Tony Moly (that on my left). But wait 'til we see their lasting power.

After one wash with my favorite milk cleanser, I applied my toner and I actually run the cotton ball through it but they're still on! K-Palette is my bet here. As you can see it's obvious I still have marks of the liner.

Both have their fair share but I choose to repurchase Tony Moly as it is cheaper, has lighter shade that suits my hair color and their SA's are accommodating. Yes that's right. Customer service counts.

On the other hand, K-Palette will still be on my list.

My views and thoughts on these liquid eyebrow liners do not affect their quality and performance for we have different preference and brow type.

What about you? Would you choose to save or splurge on brow liners?

What's In My Makeup Traincase

Hi everyone! So today marks the new ME as I am going to be serious in blogging. This blog will showcase you reviews on makeups as well as my sense of style in fashion. I will start with what's in my train case. I am a professional makeup artist so you will see more of my opinion and views on makeups that I like or dislike.

I bought this in Carriedo about six months ago for Php3500.00. A steal? Well to me it is. The original price is Php4500.00. I went there as early as 9am to take advantage of the Buena Mano price.

Spot it.

It's tough. Really tough. I banged it one time when I was in a hurry but it still keep my makeups in place. It's heavy. I can't estimate how many kilos but this trolley is easy enough to carry.

Here's the inside...

You see Make Up For Ever, NARS, Ben Nye, Cinema Secrets, Art Deco, Skindinavia, Maybelline, NYX, La Femme, Shu Uemura, Jordana, Tony Moly, Majolica Majorca, Paul & Joe, Etude House, MAC, The Face Shop, In2it, Urban Decay. Hairstyling products like Pantene Hairspray, Babyliss Curling Iron, Imarflex Hair Dryer, some wet wipes, teasing combs, bobby pins and the like.

I organize each compartment by each makeup use.

Setting powders on the top.
Lipsticks, lip gloss and lip balm under.
Eyeliners, Eyebrow pencils and brow trimmer on the third compartment.
Eye primers, mascaras, falsies, lash curler come next below.
And hairstyling items on the bottom most.

On the other side, the foundations and concealers on top.
Makeup remover, Setting spray, alcohol, Q tips.
Third compartment, blushers and bronzers.
Then lipstick palettes and eyeshadows and others.

These are not complete. I know that. It's just a year ago when I started buying makeups every payday. I'm constantly visiting online sellers to compare prices because whenever I buy makeup I really splurge into it. I recently bought my TEMPTU Airbrush System and it cost me one heck of my one month salary.

By the way, I just realized my NAKED palette wasn't here! That palette is what I use to all clients because I go for neutrals. Anyway, it will have a special spot in this blog for I will create tens of looks using only that palette.

I will also make a review on these makeups.

I'd love to hear from you. What's your thoughts?
